Why Donate to EIA?

You care about how your gift is used. Whether you donate $10 or $10,000, you want to know that your donation made a difference.

At Executives in Action, our commitment to our donors is that we will leverage your gifts to make a bigger impact on the causes that matter to you than any other nonprofit.

Our conservative evaluation of our impact is that every $1 you invest in EIA produces a $10 impact on the causes that matter most to you.

Here is how we can achieve this 900% return on investment (ROI):
  • Our VP-level consultants have an average billable rate of over $150 per hour, yet EIA only pays around $15 per hour. Therefore, every $100 that we spend on a consultant delivers an average of $1,000 of consulting to a nonprofit. This consulting then makes an exponential impact on the nonporift. See the impact profiles to the right.
  • Nearly 40% of these honorarium payments are fully waived: the consultants donate them back to EIA in order to support the organization. These funds are re-invested in additional consulting, allowing every dollar to deliver even greater results.
  • Gifts have 0% overhead -- EIA's board will pay for the organization's operations, administration and other overhead costs so every penny donated is used for programs (i.e. delivering high-impact consulting at no cost to nonprofits).
  • You can designate exactly how you want your gift used -- from supporting a particular kind of project (i.e. strategic planning), to a particular kind of nonprofit (i.e. homeless prevention) to a specific nonprofit itself (i.e. your favorite charity).

EIA's Triple Impact

EIA and St Vincent de Paul Thrift Store

Impact Profile:

St Vincent de Paul Thrift Store

EIA invested around $13,000 to send a team of executives to the Society of St Vincent de Paul, a local human services agency, to deliver a process improvement project at their thrift store. The documented hard savings were over $135,000 per year, yielding a $10-to-1 return on EIA's investments. Beyond that, the store's manager also credits EIA with helping to increase revenues from $700K to over $1.2M (a 71% increase). Including the increased revenues, this project yielded a nearly $50-to-1 overall return on investment.

EIA and The Family Place

Impact Profile:

The Family Place

EIA invested $4,800 to send an executive to the Family Place, the largest family violence service provider in the Dallas area, to improve their IT network and infrastructure. The documented hard savings were over $5,000 per month, or at least $60,000 per year. EIA's one-time investment therefore yielded a $12-to-1 return over the next 12 months, with additional savings in future years.

EIA and CONTACT Crisis Line

Impact Profile:

CONTACT Crisis Line

EIA invested around $5,500 to send an executive to CONTACT Crisis Line to implement a series of marketing initiatives. The documented hard benefits were over $27,000 in new funds raised -- a $5-to-1 return. The organization's President also credited EIA's executive with helping them to secure a significant amount of media coverage that resulted in increased volunteers and, most importantly, increased utilization of their services.
